A Beautiful February Glossybox

3.20.2017
I was surprised when I saw this gorgeous Glossybox this month, instead of the usual plain baby pink box! These peonies are so gorgeous! And the items inside the box last month were even more wonderful! So let's get to the products!

February's box was filled with some great little goodies! And most of them were scented beautifully, so I could smell how good this box was going to be before I even opened it! The pink crinkle cut paper was a fun pop of color in this box too. So I was excited to get these out and take photos right away!

This was the first little guy that I grabbed out of my box because I get excited over nail polish. When I read the front I realized that it wasn't going to be a gorgeous pink nail polish, but I do use base coats so I knew that I would use it any way. But this polish seriously does brighten my nails wearing it on it's own. It makes my nails look glossy, clean, and healthy. My nails split and break pretty easily so I'm hoping that over time this could help with that issue, but so far I'm loving using it as a base coat! This formula is created without parabens, sulfates, and phthalates. This sheer pink color also helps cancel out yellow tones in nails, which is how it makes them appear brighter!

I was pretty excited to see a Schwarzkopf item in this month's box because I actually recognized that brand! I don't own and have never done a hair mask so I was excited to try this puppy out! This little tub looks like it will give me a few uses out of it, too. I've used it once already and it left my hair feeling smooth and looking pretty shiny, but I don't style my hair often or use heat on it. My hair is damaged from bleaching it but other than that I let it air dry, so it isn't too damaged.

I am an eyebrow fanatic. My eyebrows are so important to my face. If I'm having a good eyebrow day, then it's a great day. So I can be pretty particular about my brow products, and this pencil is awesome! I first swatched this on the back of my hand because I have black eyebrows and dark hair, so it's really hard to get nice natural looking brows with black brow pencils. This color was in dark brown and it is a nice dark, cool toned brown that looks nice with my naturally black brows. The pencil doesn't smudge easily and the unique oval shape of the pencil helps keep the small strokes looking like hairs. The opposite end has a spooly to help keep those brows shaped and groomed nicely and although I don't like this particular spooly, it is nice when brow pencils come with one.

First of all, how beautiful did this product photograph? I adore this little bottle of perfume, it's so classy, timeless, and girly. I just absolutely love it! And the scent is just as beautiful and timeless! This is directly from the package: "The fresh and fruity start of bergamot, orange and lychee evokes the morning dew on hardly hatched roses. Then the heart mixes the rosebud with the lily of the valley to celebrate romanticism and femininity, to end on sensual and velvety notes of amber and peach. Who gets paid to write perfume descriptions? I guess this is a French perfume and it was translated from French, so maybe it would sound better. Personally, this scent reminds me of my mother or grandmother, BUT not in a bad way at all. It's a mature scent, I smell the notes of the amber and rose more than the citrus notes. It makes me feel womanly and sexy, not flirty or old. Haha, I don't wear perfumes often because my husband is sensitive to strong scents, but I would wear this on a day out by myself or with friends. It would make a great date night scent though if your husband doesn't mind perfumes.

Last item in February's Glossybox was this bad boy. My jaw literally dropped when I saw an Estee Edit product because I have been seeing people all over social networks talking and raving about The Estee Edit line! This is the Pink Peony Overnight mask, and it smells like a garden full of peonies! Oh my it smells so amazing! It's not overpowering and doesn't stay on your skin, but it smells great in the little container. This product is like a thin gel/pomade consistency and feels like water on your skin once you start rubbing it in. It really does add so much hydration to my skin and plumps up my pores. I just read though that you're suppose to rinse it off after 15-20 minutes. Uhmmm, I haven't been doing that and my skin was looking great. It says it is a water-gel formula, so the first ingredient in this product is water. But for $50 for the 1.7 fl. oz. full size product, I'm not so sure I would repurchase it. It works, but $50 is a lot of money for me and I don't suffer from dehydrated skin, so I can get by with drugstore facial lotions and products.

That rounds up our products in the February Glossybox! I was quite please with the items I got in this month's box! And I really do enjoy the extra special boxes, like this gorgeous pink peony box!
